Mauro Felippe on NoSet
Check the interview on the portal NoSet on the works of the author Mauro Felippe.
Mauro Felippe is a writer who has chosen to go his own way. He began his work as an author at age 16, a phase of adolescent conflicts that aroused in him the desire to understand human behavior and his interpersonal relationships. After 21 years of experience in the middle of the most diverse conflicts, in acting as a lawyer, Felippe felt that it was time to rescue his poetry, to let the thought run free, to go further. From his notes of adolescence he rescued some reflections, but most of it concerns his mature phase. In 400 pages, with over 200 poems and chronicles, in addition to beautiful illustrations, the author reveals his peculiar way of interpreting daily life, in a shrewd, penetrating but always sensitive word game. Page after page, you can see the effervescence of ideas of a restless, detailed mind, of those who are not content just to go through life, want to leave their mark. A critical work, but one that aims to be constructive and help the reader to uncover fears, dilemmas and conflicts from day to day.
In our humble opinion, the highlight of Mauro Felippe's career is the decision to publish independently. In doing so, he proved to be content and mature enough to walk a lonely but prolific path marked by talent. His books cover chronicles and poems of the most diverse, always aimed at his growth as a writer and, consequently, the growth of those who read his works. He could have chosen to whine and leave his words restricted to a drawer, forgotten, only that would never be fair to him and to all who could access his writings.
